ABOUT OROLA

OROLA draws from oro — gold. A name rooted in permanence, material integrity, and continuity.

We start with form. The weight of gold, the geometry of a stone, the way a surface changes when it stops trying to catch the light. From there, everything is a process of reduction — removing what isn't necessary until what remains feels right.

Material

Every piece is made in solid 18k recycled gold. The finish is matte brushed — a deliberate choice that allows shape and proportion to lead, rather than reflection. Where high polish amplifies light, a brushed surface quiets it. The object becomes the focus.

Stones are lab-grown diamonds, selected for cut geometry and clarity. Physically and chemically identical to mined diamonds, they represent a considered approach to fine jewellery without compromising on material standard.

Construction

Settings are bezel. Each stone sits enclosed within the gold — low, flush, held along its full perimeter. No prongs, no elevation. The bezel wall is deliberately substantial, built for durability as much as form.

It's a quieter way to set a stone. And a more permanent one.

Design Language

The collection is built on repetition, balance, and controlled proportion. Shapes recur across pieces — pear, cushion, baguette — arranged with intention to create a visual language that is quiet but recognisable.

Nothing is added for decoration. Everything earns its place.

Production

Every OROLA piece is made to order — individually, once you place your order. Please allow 4–6 weeks. Each piece is hallmarked at the London Assay Office and arrives fully insured.

A note from Ola

I've always worn 18k solid gold. My grandmothers left me pieces that were well-made, practical, and kept in use — the kind of jewellery that becomes part of daily life.

I met Edward, my manufacturing partner, after losing a vintage filigree wedding band and trying to have it recreated. What followed was a lot of conversation: casting, welding, CAD, lab-grown diamonds, natural diamonds, settings, finishes, and the details that make a piece work.

OROLA grew from that curiosity. The name brings together oro, gold in Italian, and Ola — because I wanted the brand to feel personal. The pieces are not built around trends. They are made from the way I understand jewellery: material first, detail considered, designed to be worn.

Made to remain.

Fine jewellery defined by restraint, material integrity, and lasting design. No excess, no trend. Just pieces worth keeping.
